Fixed Air Bag Dock Leveler (also known as air bag loading dock platform, air bag dock leveler) is industrial loading and unloading equipment driven by air bag inflation and deflation to lift and lower the platform. Installed at loading and unloading docks of logistics warehouses, factories and distribution centers, it bridges the height difference and gap between truck floors and docks, enabling handling equipment such as forklifts to safely and efficiently enter and exit carriages for cargo loading and unloading.

Working Principle: How Pneumatic Lifting Is Realized

- Lifting: Press the "Lift" button, the blower activates, the air bag inflates and expands to steadily jack up the platform deck.
- Lip Extension: When the platform rises slightly above the truck floor, press the "Extend" button to flip the front hinged lip outward.
- Lowering & Docking: Press the "Lower" button to deflate the air bag, the platform descends, and the lip naturally rests on the truck floor to achieve seamless docking.
- Reset: After loading and unloading, repeat the steps of lifting → retracting the lip → lowering, and the platform returns to standby level flush with the dock.

Working Principle of Air Bag Dock Leveler
The air bag dock leveler adopts industrial high-strength airbags as core actuators, and controls platform lifting and lowering through inflation and deflation. Can it be used in cold storage environments in winter? Will it freeze?

Service Life and Replacement Cycle of Airbags
Airbags are made of high-strength rubber composite materials with oil resistance, aging resistance and fatigue resistance, with a design service life of no less than 500,000 inflation and deflation cycles under standard working conditions. Control Logic of Lip Extension and Overlapping
The lip adopts a pneumatic telescopic mechanism linked with the lifting of the main platform. When the platform rises to the upper stroke limit, the lip extends automatically; during descending, the lip retracts and resets first to avoid interference with carriages. The whole process is fully automatic without manual intervention.

Acceptance Tests Required After Installation
No-load Test: Perform continuous lifting and lowering 10 times to check smooth operation and abnormal noise. Load Test: Conduct actual loading and unloading with forklifts and goods carrying 75%~100% of the rated load to check tight fitting between the lip and carriage and abnormal deformation of the platform. Safety Function Test: Test the reliability of safety support leg locking and sensitivity of emergency stop buttons.
