Hydraulic Mobile Dock Ramp (universal international name: Hydraulic Mobile Dock Ramp) is driven by an electro-hydraulic pump station, with hydraulic cylinders lifting and lowering the ramp deck. It is dedicated auxiliary loading and unloading equipment for warehouses, logistics parks and factories.
Compared with traditional mechanical dock ramps, hydraulic versions deliver smooth lifting movement, a wider height adjustment range and less manual labor, ideal for heavy-load, high-frequency loading operations with large height differences between vehicle compartments.
The unit is standard-fitted with serrated anti-slip steel grating, offering reliable anti-slip performance under slippery conditions such as oil stains, pooled water and ice and snow, effectively safeguarding forklift passage safety.

Driven by hydraulic cylinders, the ramp moves at a constant speed without abrupt shocks during lifting and lowering, lowering impact damage to forklifts and cargo. An explosion-proof solenoid valve is optional; it automatically locks the platform upon power failure or hydraulic pipe rupture to prevent sudden platform drop.
Wider Adjustment Range for Superior Compatibility

Redundant Safety Design

What are the core differences between mechanical and hydraulic dock ramps?

Are the deck dimensions fixed, and is customization available?

Will the deck of hydraulic dock ramp drop when power cuts off?
No. The unit is equipped with a hydraulic lock protection device that instantly locks the deck upon power failure or oil pipe rupture to prevent falling accidents.
Will the serrated steel grating on the deck wear or jam forklift tires?
The serrations are 1.5–2.5mm high with rounded polished edges that will not damage tires. The grating gap ranges from 30–50mm, narrower than forklift tire width, so wheel jamming will not occur.
Is the equipment complicated to operate? Can one person operate it alone?
A single operator can complete all operations. The mechanical type has three steps: pull up, release and lock. The hydraulic model only needs one touch on a button or remote control to lift or lower.
How long does one full lifting cycle take?
3–5 seconds per cycle for mechanical ramps; 10–15 seconds per cycle for hydraulic ramps.
How to move and transfer the equipment?
The unit is fitted with heavy-duty PU universal casters and a drawbar for single-person towing. Operating procedure: lower deck to minimum height → release parking brake → tow to target position → lock the brake after arrival.
What is the approximate annual maintenance cost for hydraulic dock ramps?
Annual maintenance cost for mechanical ramps is 500–1000 RMB; hydraulic ramps cost 2000–4000 RMB per year (including regular hydraulic oil replacement).
Does the mechanical dock ramp require regular grease lubrication?
No grease filling is needed. All hinge points adopt self-lubricating bearings without daily oiling maintenance.
Can hydraulic dock ramps be used in cold storage at -25℃?
Mechanical models can be used directly in cold storage. Hydraulic versions are suitable for low-temperature environments after being filled with special low-temperature resistant hydraulic oil.
