The GTE-C series is an overhead-type five-axis gantry machining center featuring fully automatic milling head change capability. With two five-axis milling heads on a single machine, it is designed to meet a wide range of machining needs and applications.

The machine tool features an overhead crane-style design with a moving crossbeam and a fixed worktable, offering a compact footprint and high worktable load capacity. The crossbeam employs a “box-in-box” thermally symmetrical design and is equipped with four high-rigidity guideways, effectively ensuring the machine’s rigidity and machining accuracy. The X, Y, and Z linear axes are fitted with linear encoders, while the A and C axes are equipped with rotary encoders, enabling full closed-loop control of the machine.

The machine tool is equipped with two five-axis milling heads: a BBT50 high-torque milling head with a torque of 300 N·m and a high-speed milling head capable of 20,000 rpm. This configuration enables a single machine to perform both roughing and finishing operations on molds, as well as machining materials of varying hardness—such as titanium alloys and aluminum alloys—on the same machine.

The machine tool is equipped with two fully automatic tool changers, making machining smarter and more flexible.
